Behind the Art: When I heard this direct quote “Dictator? No. No, no… Other than day one” from Trump in an interview, the expression “If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it’s a duck” came to mind. Except I thought “If it walks like a dictator, and it talks like a dictator, then it’s a dictator.” I believe people when they show me who they are. This is another image that I plan to also use for street art, to help influence people to get out and vote against Trump. I think playful humor juxtaposed with serious criticism is a useful tool when it comes to both communicating to and influencing the masses.
