I often think of life as a canoe drifting down a river toward a waterfall. We’re all headed there, sooner or later. Some rush the current, eager to see what’s next, while others slow down to take in the view—but either way, the journey ends the same. It’s the great equalizer. That’s why I never let anyone climb into my boat and tell me how to steer. No matter which direction they’d have me go, it’s still going over eventually. There’s a strange peace—and strength—in knowing that.

I only made a few, and each one is entirely unique.
